Candidates who want to apply to the NLSIU for BA LLB (Hons) programe must take the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT). However, for admissions into its three-year LLB course, Master's Programme in Public Policy, PhD (Law), and PhD (Interdisciplinary) programmes candidates have to appear for NLSAT. Hence, joining NLSIU Bangalore without CLAT is impossible. Therefore students are adviced to began preparing for the exam after CLAT Exam Dates are announced.

Yes, aspirants can apply for the BBA LLB (Hons) course of SOL, Presidency University without CLAT score. The university law school accept applications from candidates with a valid score of LSAT or any other valid state/national level examination. However, for selection, it is important that the aspirants meet the course-specific eligibility requirements.

NLU Ranchi accepts CLAT scores, followed by a round of counselling for admission to the integrated law programme. During the NUSRL CLAT cutoff 2024, the cutoff list was released up to five rounds. The last round closing rank for the BA LLB (Hons) course was 1594. Observing the last three years closing ranks, an inconsistency is observed in closing ranks for the General AI quota. Moreover, the last round cutoff of the same course was 1895 in 2023, while in 2022, the cutoff closed at 1578.

Admission to NLUs is conducted based on CLAT scores only. Marks obtained in 12th exam are not considered for admission. However candidates must meet the minimum qualifying marks criteria (45% for OBC/Gen/PWD and 40% for SC/ST)

The NUSRL Ranchi CLAT cutoff 2026 was announced for admission to the BA LLB, BBA LLB and LLM courses for Round 1 for both the All India and Home State quota.
According to the Round 1 closing ranks, the cutoff for all the LLM course specialisation was 1119 for the General AI category candidates. On the other hand, for the General HS quota, the cutoff for the same course was 3215, according to the Round 1 closing ranks for all the specialisations. Students can refer to the table below to know the LLM Round 1 closing cutoff for all the LLM specialisations for the General AI quota.

No, candidates are required to complete the CLAT application procedure only. Aspirants can visit the CLAT official website to register and apply. The students who have passed Class 12 or equivalent with at least 45% aggregate (40% for SC/ST) are eligible to take the exam. All the details provided in the application form must be correct and as per the official documents.

The cutoff rank for NALSAR varies every year. It is determined based on applicants CLAT score. In 2024, CLAT Round 5 admission list was the concluding round for NALSAR Hyderabad BA LLB (H) course admission. During the counselling, the last round closing rank for BA LLB (Hons) was 167 for the General category under the All-India quota.

No, NALSAR University of Law does not grant admission without CLAT score. Hence, the course aspirants must take the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) and secure a valid score. CLAT is a pen and paper based test conducted by the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs). After the entrance exam, cutoff marks are announced. Candidates who meet the cutoff criteria become eligible for participation in the CLAT counselling.

For admission through CLAT, the aspirants must meet the eligibility criteria prescribed by the exam conducting body. Aspirants who have passed Class 12 or equivalent examination from a recognised board with a minimum of 45% aggregate are eligible. Candidates belonging to SC/ST categories get a 5% relaxation in the minimum aggregate. Furthermore, the aspirants must hold the pass certificates. These documents are required for verification purposes.
