CMAT Process

CMAT is an entrance exam accepted by 1000 + colleges in India. Here is the list of mandatory eligibility criteria for admission to college accepting CMAT score for the candidates:

•Candidate must have a bachelor's degree in any particular subject or field .

•Candidate should be in the final year to be eligible to appear for the examination. 

•Candidate must be a citizen of India. 

•candidate must for at least 50% marks in the aggregate qualifying examination. 

•There is no upper limit for the candidates to appear in the CMAT examination.

CMAT has a multi-step registration/application process, which is completely online. Candidates must follow the steps to successfully register in the CMAT website.

STEP 1: Online Registration for CMAT 2024

1. Open the CMAT-NTA website in a new browser.

2. Click on the 'Registration Link for CMAT 2024’.

3. The CMAT 2024 registration page will open.

4. Enter details like name, date of birth, city, email ID, password and mobile phone number

5. Enter the OTP received on mobile number and click on 'Submit'.

6. A 12-digit application number will be displayed.

STEP 2: Fill the CMAT Application Form

1. Enter CMAT application number and password to log in again 

2. Enter academic details in the CMAT application form

3. Enter other personal details and select test cities

4. Check the information filled in the form and edit the fields if required

5. Now submit the CMAT 2024 application form

STEP 3: Upload Documents

 After filling out the CMAT application form 2024, upload your passport size photo, signature and PwD certificate (if applicable). Given below are the specifications:

• CMAT Documents
• Size Limit and format
• Passport-size photograph
• 10 kb to 200 kb in JPG/JPEG format
• Scanned signature
• 4 kb to 30 kb in JPG/JPEG format
• PwD certificate
• 50 kb to 300 kb in JPG/JPEG format

STEP 4: Pay CMAT Application Fee

The fees can be paid online through SBI/HDFC banking services like debit/credit card, net banking and UPI/PAYTM service). Given below is the table indicating category-wise CMAT fees: 

STEP 5: Choosing a Test City for CMAT 2024

• While registering for the CMAT 2024, candidates will be required to select test cities for allotment of exam centre.
• Candidates can choose up to four cities from the list of 124 where they want a CMAT test centre to be allotted
• Candidates must note that once submitted, the test city option cannot be changed in the application form so they must make the selection carefully
•  The exam centre and test city will be mentioned on the CMAT 2024 admit card
• The CMAT test city allotted to candidates will be final and request for any change will not be entertained 

After paying the CMAT application fee, candidate must download the fee acknowledgement page and preserve it as proof of successful submission.

Candidates willing to appear for CMAT Entrance Examination are advised to follow the following steps: 

• Open the official website of CMAT Examination. 

• Fill all the mandatory details like your name, email id and date of birth online to register for CMAT Examination.

• You must have recieved an OTP via email, complete your registration process with verifying through the same OTP or email verification.

• Browse through the website and find the CMAT application form, fill it with all the required details. 

• Complete all the details along with the scanned documents and signatures required .

• You will be led to payment page, make the payment and wait to receive the sms for successful registration of the candidate along with the application number.
