Eligibility Criteria for CMAT 2018 Exam
Applicant must be a citizen of India. Final year students of Graduate Courses (10+2+3) whose result will be declared before commencement of admission for academic year 2018-19 can also apply for CMAT online exam.

If the eligibility mentions CMAT, then no matter what the college will consider your application. If it doesn't mention CMAT, then the college is not going to give an exception for you.

Most of the colleges in Gujarat accepts CMAT for MCA admission. There are few more colleges, but you would have to check individually.

Fee structure is different for different colleges under Gujarat University, and hence CMAT may or may not be compulsory. University is very generic and has colleges under it.

It doesn't accept CMAT but only accepts CAT with 86 percentile and XAT with 80 percentile:
