NLU Patna admission to B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) is based on CLAT scores followed by the CLAT Counselling. The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) has released the CLAT Last Allotment list 2024. As per the CNLU Patna CLAT cutoff 2024, the round 5 closing rank for BA LLB (Hons) was 1358 for the students belonging to the General AI category. CNLU Patna CLAT cutoff 2023 for admission to the BA LLB (Hons) and BBA LLB (Hons) courses was concluded after Round 4 for EWS category Home State. As per CLAT Round 1 Seat Allotment result, the closing rank for EWS candidates residing in Patna need for both the UG courses is tabulated below:

As per CNLU Patna cutoff 2023, the last round closing rank was 1541 for the BBA LLB (Hons) course for the General All India category students. In 2022 and 2021, the last round closing rank stood at 1407 and 1312 for the BA LLB (Hons) course.

The opening or minimum rank required for NLU Patna is 1314 for BA LLB (Hons) and 1218 for BBA LLB (Hons) courses for General Category students under Vertical Reservation for CLAT Fifth Provisional Allotment List. CLAT Fifth Provisional Allotment list has been released by the Consortium of National Law Universities (CNLU) for NLU Patna admission to BBA LLB and LLM courses. Registered candidates for CLAT 2023 counselling were called by the respective NLUs through five provisional merit lists, each released by the Consortium of CLAT.
