Overall, it is a good university in the state of Bihar.
Placements: Our college has 100% placements. There is a good environment to study. There are so many things to do at the law university. Overall, it is a good university in the state of Bihar.
Infrastructure: Facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library, sports room, etc., are available. Canteens are also available there. Overall, it is good, but sometimes, because of students, conflicts between students are more frequent because of religion, caste, discrimination, etc. But the faculty members can manage all. The infrastructure and facilities are growing day by day.
Faculty: Faculty members are good at teaching. They give us good marks in all subjects.
Other: Fests are organised. Extracurricular activities are also conducted here. I have an interest in the LL.B. course, so I chose this course and believe me, it's so much joyful.

Best tier-3 NLU in Patna.
Placements: Packages range from 8 LPA to 12 LPA. Generally, students are placed off campus or they choose to pursue judiciary, but those who appear for placements are generally placed. Major recruiters here are ICICI Bank, Wadia Ghandy, etc. These companies often visit to recruit.
Infrastructure: You get a one-device login Wi-Fi. Classrooms are fully equipped with air conditioners, smart boards, etc. Library is quite big and has ample space for studies. The timings are also great, it is open till 2:00 AM. Hostels are decent, you are provided with on campus hostel.
Faculty: Since the change in the vice-chancellor, curriculum has gone under many changes. Studies are getting more applications-based. A shift is seen from wrote learning to application based learning. Faculty members are decent. New good faculty members are also introduced which offer insightful discussions.

Best law college in Bihar.
Placements: In my college, there is an internship and placement cell known as CDIC. But it provides internships to only a few students. Even in placements, it is able to provide to a few only. The rest of the students secure placement by themselves. Our college brings placement opportunities mainly from ICICI Bank. The highest package being 12,00,000 lpa. Law firms like JSA, DSK Legal, and Dentons Link Legal have also provided opportunities to students.
Infrastructure: There are separate hostels for boys and girls. The hostel facilities include a gym, message, canteen, water cooler, Wi-Fi and washing machines. The menu is decided by student representatives and the quality of the food is average. The hostel also has a medical attendant 24*7 and sports facilities like badminton court, volleyball court, basketball court and equipment to play it with. It also has a common hall for indoor games like cribbage, chess, table tennis and more. Our college also has an ambulance 24*7 in case of emergency.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified and helpful. They are available in their chambers till 6 p.m., so anyone can approach them. But some teachers way of teaching is not good as they are not able to make students understand. The curriculum is very relevant as it teaches a variety of subjects along with practical skills like drafting and moot court. There are 2 exams in a semester: mid-semester and end-sem. Both are at an average level of difficulty, and students generally get good marks. Only 2-3% fail.
Other: Events like moot court competition, mediation competition, DJ nights, and dandya nights take place. Annual festivals like JEEVATVA also take place. The college is the best law college in Bihar. The course provides help in the complete development of a student and helps build a career. The teaching quality must be further improved and more infrastructure must take place.

Satisfied with the faculty and infrastructure.
Placements: Batch of 2023, which passed this year, had about 4 students get pre-placement offers in ICICI Bank. There are around 25 students who were placed in law firms like JSA, ICICI Bank, etc. The package ranges from 12 Lacs to 18 Lacs. In my batch of 2028, we have had internships in different law firms like Juhi Arora & Associates, Vohra & Vohra Associates, Indus Law Associates, etc.
Infrastructure: We have smart classrooms with 2 screens available for students and faculty members as well. Wi-Fi is available at all the places on campus. The library has around 3000 books with separate sections like textbook section, reference sections, discussion sections, etc. The mess in the hostel is above average and they provide good foods. There are canteens, Nescafe, dispensaries, and different grounds for sports like cricket, soccer, basketball, etc.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. But there are some teachers who do not teach well and such teachers get replaced because they complain. There are two semesters in one year and the level of exams is average. To pass the exam, you have to get 50%, and it is not very difficult. 75% attendance is compulsory and there are 5 marks for attendance if you have 100% attendance.
Other: I chose this course as it will be beneficial for me in the corporate sector as well. There are so many events that take place throughout the semester, due to which you get the opportunity to socialize with all the people around the campus.

Good college for career building.
Placements: Those who want to get a job and work on their CVs accordingly get placed. The college provides students with enough opportunities to enhance the required skills and CV. Firms which come to our college include JSA, EY, LKS, ICICI Bank, etc. Overall, in terms of placement, it is doing decently well.
Infrastructure: The upgraded infrastructure for the academic block is top-notch. The classrooms are fully air-conditioned and also consist of entirely smart facilities. The entire campus is provided with free wi-fi. The library consists of an exhaustive collection of books and access to an online platform.
Faculty: The teaching aspect needs a lot of work to be done. While there are some very good law faculty members, there are also some mediocre ones. The quality of teaching is overall average. The course curriculum is updated to the industry standard. The semester exams are moderate to easy. The current focus of our college is not on improving marks but on improving the required skills for the market.

The college is worth the hard work.
Placements: This year, the passing-out batch had a great number of placements with a promising package. The highest package was 16 LPA. ICICI Bank is the most prominent company. In fact, in the 4th year batch, one of our female senior was offered two months of paid internship by ICICI Bank with a job offer. A lot of our seniors who interned at law firms got their placements there, and JSA was one of it. Top roles include corporate lawyer, litigation judge, etc.
Infrastructure: Our college provides the best of facilities, whether it be academic faculty, library facilities, Wi-Fi, smart class or everything else. The hostel facility is also nice, with spacious rooms and good infrastructure. Wi-Fi is also there. Then the food quality in the mess is great and we have medical facilities with a warden as well as a separate dispensary room. There is availability for all games and there are football grounds, cricket grounds, volleyball courts, badminton courts, and basketball courts too.
Faculty: The professors are knowledgeable about their own topics and impart lectures in an easy and understandable way. The course curriculum is relevant and since the arrival of our new VC, Faizan Mustafa, there has been a great all-round development in academics. The semester exams test our knowledge and it is difficult, just like how law school should be.
Other: I chose this course because I am from a commerce background and I can relate to it. The events and campus life are dazzling and it feels so good to enjoy all these fests every now and then.

It's a good university, but it also depends on how much hard work you put in yourself.
Placements: I can't exactly tell the number as I can't guess how many people actually sit in placements. In college, there is a peculiar judiciary culture. But yet, there have been 20 placements till now. The highest package was 16 Lacs and the lowest 9 Lacs. Almost everyone gets internships from my course. But there is a fact that they apply themselves. Top roles are legal advice, attorney, legal consultant, etc.
Infrastructure: Every classroom is air-conditioned. Wi-Fi is also provided. We have a large library named Nishant Nilayam. Our total campus is 24 acres and also well-maintained. Trees and plants are enormous. The food is of average quality. You get good medical facilities.
Faculty: Faculty members are average; some of them are very nice, but some of them are not. The course curriculum is relevant and designed as per national law university standards. Semester exams are not that difficult. I feel they are easy. Yes, the curriculum makes students industry-ready and we get a 2-month internship break in each semester, which also provides good exposure. Teachers are helpful, and some of them are highly knowledgeable too. Teaching quality is average, I would say. There is a faculty member scarcity, but all of these are improving due to our new VC, Dr. Faizan Mustafa.
Other: There are many committees like the cultural committee, sports committee, moot court committee, and all. Intra-college sports tournaments happen. Many debating tournaments and moot court competitions are also held. Placements are not that great here. Judiciary culture is nice. Infrastructure and faculty members are improving day by day.

I recommend not to join this college.
Placements: Placements in our college are very poor. There are no placements at all. This year's senior batch (2014-19) had just one placement from ICICI Bank. There is no proper functional placement committee on the campus. Attempts are being made by the students itself to eradicate this situation. It's a complete student initiative with little to no help from the college administration.
Infrastructure: It is a national law university, and we don't even have a moot court hall. There is an incomplete constructed amphitheatre. There is no proper canteen. The college has two private institutions running on the campus itself. You can smell marijuana coming from the hostels (both girls and boys) from a mile away. We also have a music room, but it is not well equipped.
Faculty: Probably the only good thing about CNLU is its faculty members. They have a vast knowledge over the subject they teach. Teachers are indeed helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The added advantage is that if your aim is the judiciary, then CNLU is probably the best for you because the course curriculum is strictly followed in adherence to the judicial services exam.
Other: Events like CNLU parliamentary debate and CNLU national moot on cyber law (started from 2019 itself) are conducted here. We didn't even invite a celebrity for the fest, so that pretty much gives the idea about the fest. Campus crowd is average. You won't find any vast cultural indifferences, but majority population is from Bihar. Extracurricular activities include basketball, football and volleyball.
