The rankings of IIT Pune and IIT Kottayam are different. IIT Pune is ranked 6th out of 100 in the engineering college and IIT Kottayam is ranked 47th according to NIRF ranking and IIT Pune come among top 50 college in the country while IIT Kottayam come among 20 indias top engineering college. While both BHU and JNU are prestigious institutes of India, and have guaranteed impeccable placement records in past, but in terms of MBA, BHU is regarded as the best choice over JNU. The highest package at the former for MBA is INR 38 Lacs per annum while for the latter it is INR 30 Lacs per annum. BHU is better than JNU for MBA in terms of fees as well.

According to the NIRF Report 2023, NIT Agartala has been ranked 91 for the Engineering category whereas NIT Patna has been ranked 56. Similarly, as per the latest statistics of placement data, the average package offered during the NIT Agartala placement 2022 is INR 7 LPA whereas during the NIT Patna placement 2022, the average package offered was INR 14 LPA.
