IIIT Kancheepuram

• Established in 2007 by the Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD), Government of India.
• Located near IT and Industrial Hubs at Chennai, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad, which provides better opportunities for training and placements.
• Has a 55-acre campus.
• Faculties are Ph.D. and Masters holders in their respective areas.
• In 2019, a total of 33 students were placed, with companies like HCL, Amazon, Flipkart, and Wipro visiting the campus for recruitment.
• The highest package offered was recorded to be 20 LPA on campus, with an average package of 17 LPA.
• Last season in CSE saw more than 85% placements with top recruiters like TVS, L&T Infotech, Infosys, Amazon, TCS Digital, Cognizant, Accenture, and Honeywell.

IIIT Kottayam

• Established in 2015 in the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) mode with funding from the central government, state government, and industry partners.
• Granted the status of "Institute of National Importance" by the Government of India.
• Fee structure is INR 5.4 Lacs (Total fees).
• The highest salary package offered was INR 11.5 LPA, and the average salary package was INR 3.5-4.5 LPA.
• Top recruiting companies include IBM, TCS, JIO, and many more

For an MBA, IGNOU and DU SOL are comparable because they are both reputable colleges with online learning options. The largest distance learning institution in India, IGNOU was founded in 1985 and offers a variety of programmes, including an MBA that costs Rs 37,800 for three years. However, DU SOL, which has been a part of Delhi University since 1922, is better suited for working people who want a less challenging curriculum because it offers fewer courses and is renowned for being simpler to pass. Nonetheless, IGNOU is a popular alternative for many students looking for ease and a wide range of programme options because it is acknowledged throughout Asia and provides more course selections without the requirement for entrance exams.

Both IISc and IITs are the premier institutes of India. But there are certain distinctions between them in terms of research, faculty, ranking, etc. deciding which university is better varies from student to student based on different parameters set by them. However, as per NIRF 2023 Rankings, IISc Bangalore holds the top two rankings in the "University" and "Overall" categories. The majority of IITs are not as highly ranked by the NIRF. Additionally, the highest package offered due to IISc placements 2023 was INR 85 LPA, while the average package offered was INR 28 LPA. Furthermore, aside from other IITs, IISc Bangalore is the only institution that takes JEE ADvances scores into account for admission to its B.Tech program. 

VIT has multiple campuses across cities namely VIT Vellore, VIT Chennai, VIT Bhopal and VIT-AP (VIT Amaravati). All four campuses are known for engineering programmes The oldest campus of VIT is VIT Vellore. The University is known for its well-experienced faculty, infrastructure, modern facilities and academic courses. VIT Vellore has been ranked the 11th best Engineering institution by NIRF 2023. VIT Chennai offers UG and PG courses. It is famous for its proximity to Chennai. One of the newer campuses of VIT is VIT Bhopal, known to have a conducive environment for learning. The perception of 'best' depends on individual preferences and career choices. 

NID Bangalore and NID Ahmedabad cannot really be compared because NID Bangalore is the extended campus of NID Ahmedabad and the institutes have a common admission process and a centralised placement cell.

NID Ahmedabad offers BDes and MDes, on the other hand NID Bangalore only offers an MDes.

Both the institutes offers different MDes specialisations, therefore the choice of institute will majorly depend on the specialisation selection of a candidate. For instance, if an aspirant wish to pursue MDes with specialisation in Digital Game Design, he/she will have to take admission at the Bangalore campus because the NID Ahmedabad does not offer the aforementioned specialisation.
