Both Graphic Era (Deemed to be University), Dehradun, Uttarakhand and Graphic Era Hill University functions under Dr. Ghanshala, President Graphic Era Group. Primary Difference lies in GEHU, being a private university and Geu, a deemed university. Graphic Era is Deemed University recognised by the UGC and awarded NAAC Grade A and NIRF Rank 104 All India- Engineering Category. Graphic Era Hill University is a private autonomous university formulated under the aegis of an UK State government Act but is also recognised by the UGC. Both the bodies offers good placements and have good infrastructure. Both the universities offers scholarship

If you are passionate about computer science and want to do research and create something new, you'll definitely not regret leaving and joining IIIT-D.
You'll get the chance to work at cutting edge things, go deep into computer science and acquire deep technical knowledge of a variety of domains (and the way YOU want them. The curriculum provides a lot of flexibility). If you want to work in the technical industry/research industry and learn, you would not regret joining IIIT-Delhi.
If not, IIIT-D will probably still be a cool (but hard) place to kick it but I'd need more details of what you wan
