NIET is way better in terms of faculty and placements. Also, it is a better institute because it is dedicated to engineering.

Both the colleges are of same grade as of study and placements. Don't be confused in choosing the college. It won't matter which college you go.
If you are looking for management quota, you may be asked to pay a large sum of money. It may be in the range Rs. 4 to 12 lakh /- It mainly depends on what kind of contacts you bear.
It would be easier if you study a little harder and get some good rank in WBJEE exams and then try for admission into these college.
Hope I answered your query.

The infrastructure- Its great, nice study environment, big library, air conditioner classrooms and labs, huge seminar halls. You will be pleased with it. Faculty is really helpful. They do a great job in teaching. They work hard to provide study material. HOD is also very friendly. Hello Atharva,
As per the reports and various sources indicate, DY Patil is having better academic reputation alongside better faculty. In view of this I would advise you to prefer this college and grab admission if you are getting it.

Hi Prasanth,
You wouldn't ask this question in the first place if you really know about both SSN and PSG Tech. PSG Tech is a tier 1 college and SSN is a tier 2 college in placement, faculty, infrastructure, etc. Usually, the Chennaites who don't get PSG, GCT or CIT prefer SSN. I think both colleges provide almost equal exposure and opportunities and to answer your question - yes, PSG Tech is far better than SSN because of advantage of studying in PSG is that you will always have their brand name behind your back even after you leave the college. So, choose wisely and my suggestion for you is to choose the one which is nearest to your h

IGRUA is the best, they are government aided and have the best infrastructure, instructors, aircrafts and other facilities. They also have a tie-up with CAE, hence the quality of training and exposure is much better. Chimes is also doing good when it comes to private institutions. They operate from an uncontrolled airfield and usually have to go to Bhopal or some other controlled airfield to practise instrument flying procedures. The instructors are although good and same is the condition of their airplanes. Both the institutions have good in-house accommodation facilities available and the infrastructure is also comparable.
