Admissions to various BSc courses at College of Engineering Guindy are made on the basis of Class 12 marks. CEG BSc course admission are done through a Single Window Admission System, administered by Anna University.  In order to be considered for the admissions, interested students must first apply on the official website of Anna University.

CEG BSc courses admissions are done through a Single Window Admission System, administered by Anna University. The admission process generally starts after the release of Class 12 results. The application form for various UG and PG courses, including BSc, is expected to release soon.

In order to be considered for admission to BSc courses, the candidates must first apply on Anna university’s website. Interested students are advised to keep visiting the university’s official website to stay updated with the admission process.

CEG admits students to its BSc courses based on marks obtained on Higher Secondary Examination (Class 12) from recognised boards. Recognised boards include CBSE, ICSE, West Bengal and any other board subject to verification of the HSC certificate. Thus any candidate who has passed Class 12 and has obtained relevant HSC certificate is eligible to apply for BSc courses at CEG.

Note: College of Engineering Guindy is affiliated with Anna university. The above mentioned eligibility guidelines are as per the site of the aforementioned university. Students are advised to check the eligibility guidelines while filling the application form.

College of Engineering Guindy offers three specialisations under its BSc programme. These specialisations are Computer Science, Electronics Media and Information Technology. All the three courses are PG integrated courses and have course duration of 5 years each. CEG BSc in Computer Science and CEG BSc in Electronic Media have few similar course subjects such as Programming, IT lab, Applied Physics and more. CEG BSc in Electronic Media has different subjects and scope in terms of prospect careers after graduation. All three courses are aimed to make students industry ready and provides students with much needed practical exposure.

As of now, College of Engineering Guindy BSc 2024 placements related data is not available. However, placement statistics for 2022 and 2021 are available. Based on that, it can be said that College of Engineering Guindy overall placements has seen remarkable growth over past years. In 2021 the highest package offered to CEG students stood at INR 20.5 LPA. During 2022 placements, the figure went up to INR 36.50 LPA showing a hike of 44%. Moreover, a total of 1100 students were placed during CEG 2021 placements. This number increased to 2114 in the year 2022 showing a remarkable hike of 49%.
