No, College of Engineering Guindy does not accept the JEE Main entrance examination results for admission to various BTech course specialisations. Instead, the institute accepts the TNEA exam and its counselling process for admission.

The TNEA 2025 Cutoff will be released after each round of counselling, which is expected to start on July 14th and will continue till August 19th, 2025. The DoTE also released the TNEA 2025 Rank list on 27th June 2025.
The CSE branch cutoff is expected to be between 198 and 200 marks for candidates in the general category, between 195 and 199 for ECE, and between 192-197 for mechanical for major universities like Anna University.
Candidates from BC and MBC can get into the CSE Branch at top colleges such as CEG and PSG with scores ranging from 192 to 195, while candidates from SC can obtain the same with scores between 185 and 190.

A total of 2,000+ students were placed during CEG Guindy placements 2022. Earlier, more than 1,200 and 1,100 students were placed during CEG Guindy placements 2021 and 2020, respectively.

College of Engineering Guindy TNEA cutoff 2024 ranged between 44 and 16859 for BE admission among the General AI quota. So, students with a cutoff of 1050 are eligible to secure a seat at CEG. Since you have not mentioned in which course you want to take admission, I am considering you don't have any specific course preference.
