According to the PSG College of Technology placement drive 2022, the median package during PSG College of Technology placement 2022 ranged between INR 6 lakh and INR 6.5 lakh as per NIRF 2023 rankings. The average package offered during CEG Guindy placements 2022 stood at INR 6.93 LPA.
In the NIRF 2023 rankings, PSG College of Technology is ranked 63rd, while CEG Guindy has not been given a ranking. Thus, based on rankings, PSGCT is a better college.

College of Engineering, Guindy (CEG), is one of the best Engineering colleges in the country. The college is affiliated with Anna University. According to the NIRF 2023 Ranking, it has 13 among the top Engineering institutes in India. College of Engineering offers various BTech and MTech courses under different specialisations. The college has a total of 12 departments. Along with these programmes, CEG also provides other Undergraduate, Postgraduate and PhD programmes like BSc, BArch, MBA, MSc and MCA.
