No, College of Engineering Guindy is not hard to get for hardworking students. All a student has to do is to prepare for the accepted entrance exams prior to the actual exam date. The accepted entrance exams are TANCET, GATE, and others. Students applying through GATE must prepare as per the GATE books. Students must follow all the preperation tips for a successful admission to College of Engineering Guindy.

Yes, the College of Engineering Guindy is a good college that has been ranked many times by the NIRF. A few of the important College of Engineering, Guindy rankings are mentioned below:

College of Engineering Guindy BE/ BTech admission is based on a valid TNEA scores, followed by a counselling process. TNEA Round 1 cutoff 2024 has been released, and the closing ranks ranged between 44 and 16859 for the students belonging to the General AI category. Considering the Round 1 closing ranks, if a candidates seeking admission to ECE at the College of Engineering Guindy in Round 1 must secure a rank up to 107. As of now, College of Engineering Guindy BSc placements 2024 report is not available. However, CEG 2022 overall placement data is available. According to that, a total of 2,114 students were placed during 2022 placements. CEG past three years’ placement statistics show remarkable trends. The no of students placed during the years 2020 to 2022 has increased remarkably. In 2020 1100 students were placed during CEG placements. This figure went up to 2114 students in 2022 showing a hike of 49%.

Once the application process for CEG BSc courses has ended, the admission committee produces a rank list. Based on which students are shortlisted for further process. The shortlisted students need to physically report to the institute for document verification purposes. These students must carry the following documents while reporting to institute:

  • Class 10 marksheet
  • Class 12 marksheet
  • Address proof
  • Identification Proof
  • Category certificate (if applicable)
  • Fee receipt (proof of payment of fees prescribed by the college/university)

Failure of verification of any document presented by the student can lead to cancellation of admission.
