ICFAI University, Tripura has been recognized amongst the Top 100 Engineering Colleges of the Country by India Today Ranking 2018. MS Course is not offered by this university. However, if you are referring about M.Sc. course, then they offer M.Sc in Mathematics/Chemistry/Physics. ICFAI University is renowned for placements, especially for MBA and M.Sc. There is uncertainty regarding any branch. Maybe you can get bio engineering but if you belong to SC or ST category you might get some core branches as well.

I would like to inform you that IITs and NITs both are very big names for B.Tech in India. In these institutions no matter in which part of India you are from you will do well.

Your rank is too low to get NIT. You have to satisfy with any government college or private college in your state. Try to get government colleges for this you can wait for 2nd round of counselling, if you won't get in first round.
