Tripura University is the main public university located in Tripura. Tripura University offers postgraduate courses in sixteen subjects. Tripura University Departments and Centers offer 38 degree courses. There are 24 colleges affiliated to the university.

Hello Jeevan,
NITs are premiere institutes to pursue engineering even if you get the lower ones. NIT Agartala is quite good college and placement are also pretty much satisfying. The average package of chemical engineering is around 3.5-5 Lakhs per annum. Major chemical engineering recruiter's at NIT

The dates or any schedule for TUET for this year, has not been announced yet. Last time it happened in March month.
