Candidates are required to apply and take the Common University Entrance Test (CUET-UG) for admisison to PG Integrated, BVoc and BBA courses. After appearing for the same and qualifying the exam, candidates need to register for admission counselling on the university admission portal. Going as per the past three year trends candidates can expect the closing ranks for NIT Agartala JEE Main cutoff 2024 Round 1 Seat Allotment for top specialisations between the following range:
- B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering must range between 16289 and 16987
- B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering must range between 29614 and 32958
- B.Tech.0 in Electronics and Communication Engineering must range between 23888 and 25719
- B.S. + M.S. in Mathematics and Computing must range between 25435 and 27235
- Integrated B.Tech. + M.Tech. in Computational Mathematics must range between 23967 and 30275

NIT Agaratala cutoff for M.Tech is based on GATE scores followed by the GATE CCMT Counselling. The GATE 2024 cutoff scores of NIT Agartala based on the first round of GATE 2024 CCMT seat allotment is as follows -

NIT Agartala cutoff to BTech Computer Science Engineering is based on JEE Main scores followed by the JoSAA Counselling upto Round 6. Once JoSAA Counselling is over, CSAB Counselling is helf to fill up the remaining seats of NIT Agaratala. JEE Main Round 8, has been released for admission to the BTech courses. As per NIT Agartala JEE Main cutoff 2023, the Round 8 closing rank was 24058 for General category candidates in All India quota for Computer Science Engineering.
