Techno India University Tripura (TIUT) was established in the year 2023. It is recognised by UGC, AICTE, BCI and is a part of the Techno India Group. The University offers UG,PG and integrated programmes in streams such as Humanities and Social Sciences, Agriculture Sciences, Natural Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences etc. It is sa private University with 7 Schools and 30+ courses. NIT Agartala NIMCET admission 2024 has been released for the MCA program. NIMCET 2024 has been conducted based on a Centralised admission process.
Now for the NIMCET 2025 application form, dates will be announced soon. And again a centralised process will be followed by the higher authorities to intitiate admissions smoothly.

NIT Agartala offers MTech courses based on GATE CCMT scores. The students get shortlisted on the basis of merit lists and counselling rounds. While the counselling process starts, candidates with their names in the seat allotment list are provisionally admitted to the respective courses. The shortlisted candidates need to report to NIT Agartala within the due date for each counselling round and submit the fees.

Yes, NIT Agartala is a good college. National Institute of Technology Agartala has been ranked by the NIRF 2025 under the Engineering category at the 101-150 position. The Government of India converted the Tripura Engineering College to NIT Agartala in 2006. NIT Agartala ROI is quite good. The placements are also decent.
