B K School of Business Management happens to be one of the top B-Schools in Gujarat that accepts CMAT score. The degree provided would be MBA. You'll be asked to choose from marketing, finance, operations and HR in the second year as your specialisation (major/minor). The placement from campus is 100%. The fee is an extremely minimal amount as low as 3000 Rs. per year and the college is financed by Gujarat government. CMAT percentile must be above 95 to get you through B K.
Scores vary each year and hence we use percentiles to measure the cut-off.

The field totally depends on interest, be it finance, marketing, HR or any other. CAT 2018 exam will be in the year's end, I.e. November-December. Getting a percentile of atleast 90 will fetch you a reputed B-School.

Yes there is an entrance exam for National Institute of Design. The institute conducts a Design Aptitude Test (DAT) as an admission criteria, that happens in two phases. There are no maths and science questions in NID entrance exam. They conduct a design aptitude test (that) which is meant to judge your creativity. This test is followed by a studio test. Dear Rahul,
You will have to give CAT exam, only then you will get to know your chances of getting selected for IIM, Ahemdabad. For clearing CAT, you need to be smart, not knowledgeable, and according to me, Indian Army officers are always more than smart. There were many army officers who joined the army and continued their studies too and retired from higher posts. Solve more and more CAT papers and do give IQ tests (Standford Binet or Culture ), giving IQ tests will help you overcome all your fears.
