Registration for accepted entrance examination dates for admission to BTech courses at JNTUK has been released. The AP EAMCET exam is usually conducted in the month of May. Currently, the admissions are closed for the BTech course at JNTUK. The university has closed applications for new applicants. Moreover, AP EAMCET for the agriculture stream exam and engineering stream is usually conducted on different dates.

APICET 2025 registration process will commence online at cets.apsche.ap.gov.in first week of March. Candidates will be able to fill the Andhra Pradesh ICET application form online (with late fee) on or before the last date. The last date for Andhra Pradesh ICET 2025 registrations without late fee will be announced. Registrations with late fee INR 1000, 2000, 3000, 5000 will commence soon after the registration without late fee ends. Candidates not registering on or before the prescribed date will not be given further chances to apply for the Andhra Pradesh ICET exam. As per the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) admission is based EAMCET (Engg, Agriculture & Medical Common Entrance Test). However, the university other entrance exams for admission to its BTech courses. JNTUK also accepts JEE Main, AP ECET, and TS EAMCET for admission to the BTech course. Therefore, candidates can join JNTU Kakinada BTech in affilated colleges' courses without EAMCET but they must have exam scores of any one of the above mentioned exams.

Each year, NIST admits over 100 students to its BSc courses. The admission is provided based on the applicants' merit in Class 12. The institute may also follow the state/central seat reservation policies for seat allotment. Total BSc seats at NIST are distributed among the seven BSc specialisations offered at the institute.
