Yes. Candidates are required to qualify TS ECET for admissions into the participating institutes. The allotment of seats will be done as per the candidate's rank obtained in the entrance examination along with other factors. However, non-qualified TS ECET candidates can participate in the spot round counselling. During the spot round, the vacancies will first be filled with the candidates who have qualified TS ECET and have secured 44.5% and above (OC) and 39.5% and above (BC/SC/ST) in the relevant Diploma/BSc examination. If the vacancies are still left, then the candidates who have passed the Diploma/BSc examination with 44

The total tuition fee for the BSc programme at GITAM School of Science Visakhapatnam ranges between INR 3.2 Lacs - INR 5.7 lakh. The overall the highest package offered in placement 2022 was INR 8 LPA. Considering the total cost of tuition and the package secured this seems to be a good return on the investment.
