Colleges in Andhra Pradesh

There are a lot of extracurricular activities at the college, but there don't seem to be many structured clubs. Some of the things to do are:

• Tech fests, cultural events, and parties for new students and those leaving.
• Holidays for national events like Republic Day and Independence Day.
• Sports events and games inside are held on a regular basis.
  Students have given mixed reviews, saying that events happen, but there are fewer clubs that last for a long time.

There is a healthy trend in placements at AITS, Renigunta. About 33 companies came to visit during the 2022–23 cycle, and about 72% of students got jobs. The average salary is between INR 3.0 and 3.6 LPA, and the highest package is between INR 5.2 LPA and 8 LPA, depending on the branch. Some of the best companies to work for are TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, and HCL. For CSE, the average package is about INR 4.3 LPA, and the highest package is 7.2 LPA.

The AP EAPCET (formerly Andhra Pradesh EAMCET) 2025 results were declared on June 8, 2025. These results are used for admission into engineering colleges across Andhra Pradesh, including MJR College. Counseling and seat allotment follow shortly after the result announcement.

The teachers at MJR College are helpful. Many of them have taught before and can help students with their questions. Some students, on the other hand, think that the teaching is mostly based on the syllabus and doesn't give them enough exposure to the real world. The quality of the faculty varies from department to department.

Former students of MJR College work for a wide range of national and international companies, especially in the IT and core engineering fields. Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Accenture, Tech Mahindra, Oracle, Nokia, Honeywell, Dell, and Capgemini are some of the biggest companies that hire people. A lot of students start out as interns and then turn those jobs into full-time ones.

Candidates can join through two routes:

• Regular Entry: After 10+2, through Andhra Pradesh EAPCET and counseling.

• Lateral Entry: Diploma holders can join directly in the second year through the Andhra Pradesh ECET entrance exam and subsequent counseling.

There aren't many extracurricular activities at the college. There are very few active student clubs, but the college does put on events, cultural programs, and technical fests from time to time. Students have said that the main focus is on academics and that it would be helpful to have more support for sports, arts, and clubs.

MJR College has pretty good placements, especially for students who want to study IT or Computer Science. Every year, about 60 to 70 percent of students get jobs. The average salary package is between INR 3 LPA and INR 5 LPA, but the best packages can be worth INR 5 LPA or more. Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Oracle, and Dell hire students right out of college.
