St. Joseph’s University offers the best campus facilities to the students. It includes well-equipped classrooms with an ICT facility. It has an excellent auditorium complex which has excellent lighting, green room, basement and other necessary services. It has a well-stocked library with national and international journals, periodicals/ magazines and newspapers. St. Joseph University has an observatory which offers distinct educational opportunities for the students.

Yes, St. Joseph University offers scholarships to the students. The university offers management scholarships  for economically poor students and they are eligible to apply only in the second or third year of University. It has some other scholarships which include central government scholarships, state government scholarships, private scholarships and NGO scholarships.

St. Joseph’s University application fee for the UG programme is INR 800 and for the PG programme it is INR 1,000. The application fee is not refundable under any circumstances.

St Joseph's University was previously St. Joseph’s College. On July 2, 2022, the government of Karnataka issued a notification conferring the status of a University on the college under the RUSA 2.0 Scheme of the MHRD (Ministry of Human Resource Development) by the St Joseph’s University Act, 2021. It officially upgraded from St. Joseph’s College to St. Joseph’s University on September 27, 2022.
