Yes, students with a minimum cut off for MBA can get a seat at Symbiosis Institute of Business Management- Nagpur. But in my opinion, for a safer side every candidate must try to score a little more to the eligibility so that the cut off is too high or too low doesn't matter to you.

Since cut off is released after the declaration of the scores of the students, it is difficult to make a conclusion that whether cut off is high or low. So, I think you should try to score as much as possible.

For the admission of candidates in Symbiosis Institute of Business Management - Nagpur, it is compulsory to have an eligibility criteria of 50% or more for general category ones and 45% or more for ST / SCs in their graduation.

No matter whatever their percentage is in 12th standard they would get admission if they score good in their graduation and complete the eligibility criteria.

Either graduation is a 3 year course or a 4 year course, doesn't matter. Simply, it's just that candidates must have completed their graduation.

For an MBA or we can say for any master's degree, a candidate must have completed their graduation from any certified university or institution of National Importance with a minimum eligibility of 50% for general category ones and 45% for Scheduled caste / scheduled tribes.

Candidates must have a minimum percentage of 50 for general category or an equivalent score of minimum 45% for a scheduled caste / scheduled tribe.

The candidates are selected on the basis of their scores scored in SNAP. They are also chosen on the basis on their Group Exercise (GE), Personal Interview (PI), and Written Ability Test (WAT).

Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management (LBSIM) accepts the following entrance exam scores for admission to its MBA program:

  • CAT
  • XAT
  • GMAT

LBSIM does not accept MAT scores.

The weightage given to the entrance exam score in the selection process varies depending on the program. For example, the weightage of the entrance exam score is higher for the PGDM General program, while the weightage of work experience is higher for the PGDM Executive program.

In addition to the entrance exam score, LBSIM also considers the following factors in the selection process:

  • Academic performance
  • Work experience (if any)

It is possible to get admission to Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management (LBSIM) for MBA with 60% in Class 12th, but it will be challenging. LBSIM is a highly competitive business school, and the cutoff for admission is typically above 90% in Class 12th.

However, there have been cases of students with lower Class 12th marks being admitted to LBSIM based on their strong CAT/XAT score, academic performance, work experience, and personal interview.

If you have 60% in Class 12th, you will need to score at least 95% in CAT/XAT to be competitive for admission to LBSIM. You should also have a strong academic record in your undergraduate s
