The seat intake varies from one college to another. As per the government regulations, some of the seats shall be reserved for the candidates belonging to reserved categories. The following table mentions the seat intake for a few popular MSc specialisations:

Yes, Bangalore University allows admission cancellation within the 10 days of counselling. Candidates have to get in touch admission office for the same. Some documents such as an original provisional admission card, fee receipt, and an application for cancellation and refund with correspondence address have to be submitted for the procedure. The fee shall be refunded after the successful submission of the procedure.

The total MSc course fee comprises several fee components such as tuition, admission fee, security deposit, and so on. Candidates have to pay an application fee in order to submit their application properly. MSc fees at Bangalore University range between INR 10,000 to INR 5.6 lakh. The fee mentioned here is from an unofficial source and is hence suggestive. Candidates are urged to contact the University's admission department for a detailed fee structure.

Yes, the university offers two-year MBA course in a full-time and part-time mode. There are 74 colleges affiliated to the Bangalore University that offer this programme. Selection for this course is entirely entrance-based followed by counselling round. Aspirants much check eligibility criteria to ensure that they are eligible to apply for this programme. The counselling and admission to MBA (Evening) course at CBSMS was concluded on May 15. The university has not announced more information for MBA 2023 admissions as of now. Aspirants shall first check the eligibility criteria to ensure they fulfil the requirement. Eligible candidates can further submit the application online by visiting the official website of Bangalore University (bangaloreuniversity.ac.in). The university selects candidates for this course based on merit in the Karnataka PGCET entrance test (for CBSMS), followed by a counselling round. The university also accepts KMAT/CAT/MAT/PGCET/CMAT/XAT/ATMA/GMAT/NMAT scores.

Candidates who wish to get admission to Bangalore University courses should have secured min. 40% to 50% aggregate in Class 12 or the last exam. The required aggregate depends upon the course. Moreover, for courses where admission is entrance-based, a good exam score is required. Bangalore University announces cutoff marks for each course. There is a provision for merit and need-based scholarships at Bangalore University. However, any student can avail only one scholarship or financial benefit at a time. To take admission in UG courses, students must clear Class 12 from a recognised board. Final selection is made on the basis of the entrance examination conducted by the university or merit in Class 12. For PG courses, candidates need to have a valid bachelor's degree in the relevant field from Karnataka University or an equivalent university. It is also imp that the students has passed the qualifying examination with the required aggregate as prescribed by the authorities.
