To get a seat in Amritapuri, you've to score a minimum of 60% in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and 55% in each of these subjects. Amrita has a total of 30% of the seats reserved for JEE, and one should atleast score 90% or more to get admission in Computer Science Engineering, and for all other branches, it varies according to the number of students applied and the total number of seats available for that particular course.

Food provided by mess is very delicious. There is variety of food available to students and no meal will be repeated in a week. Separate food is prepared for South and North side students. This mess has many food items such as coffee, tea, samosas, milk, sandwich, etc. Outside my college there are also many stalls on which I students can eat their breakfast this stalls include boiled egg, milk, coffee, tea, etc. The students of this college can eat breakfast before 9:00am or they get a short interval of time 11:00am to 11:15am.

The students should ensure to have good grades throughout the graduation. The focus should be more on projects than grades, because the employers are more interested on the projects and practical skills of the students than the grades. So, ensure to have good grades while focus more on the projects and practical skills. Most of the topics which one studies may not be required for the job perspective but the skills learnt will pay well in jobs as industry mostly focuses on the skill than the theory part.
