Well, as per my personal opinion, I would suggest to go with BVP-Pune between these two.
BVP, though is not very much preferred, but yes it has some potential to be preferred over Presidency University.
Placements are decent at BVP. At least, you get some corporate firms, as your recruiters and if not tier 1 and tier2 law firms, but some boutique firms.
Also, infrastructure and connectivity is good.
Faculty is not very good not very bad.
Also, it has gained much attention from students in past.

1. Faculty: 90% of them are fresh out of post graduation from local universities and have zero knowledge and zero experience. Few of the rules are formal shoes, shirt and pants every day, 85%attendance
2. Hostel: you need to have a biometric punch in every 9 am and 9:30 pm or 100 rupee fine.
3. Location: located on the Bangalore - Mysore highway far away from civilization. The nearest mall is half hour by bus.
4. Placements: Disastrous. Out of a batch of about 300, 15 were placed. Only thing Christ University faculty of engineering is good is for its cultural events
