No, you can not take admission to the MTech course at the Division of Mechanical Sciences, Indian Institute of Science, without the GATE exam. To be eligible for admission to the course at the college, the candidate has to score a minimum of 50% aggregate in graduation in a relevant stream from any recognised board. Eligible students will have to appear for the GATE exam and score a valid rank to be eligible for the course. There is no management quota or any other quota available at the college for direct admission.

The fees of IISc, which is a government institute, are rather low. UG (BS Research)* : Annual Fees (General): - Approx. 30,200 and (SC/ST, tuition waived):- Approx. 20,200. The M.Tech fee is approximately 29,200 per annum (General) and 20,200 (SC/ST) in 1 st year. The fees charged on the 1 st year (General) and 20,200/- (SC/ST) under Ph.D. Fees of the external programs are higher. These are exclusive of separate hostel and mess charges and are also liable to change.

Division of Mechanical Sciences, in IISc, is a competitive programme to get admission in. In *UG (BS Research)*, the candidates should have good PCM marks, and have to qualify through *JEE (Advanced), KVPY, NEET-UG or IISER Aptitude Test (IAT)*. PG (M.Tech/M.Tech Research/Ph.D.) requires usually that the required Grade-Point (G.P.) of B.E. or B.Tech to admit in the work-related cornerstone has been met, which is commonly a B.E./B.Tech degree or M.E./M.Tech, except for a good and valid GATE score. - You must apply for the application before the NEET exam.

The NEET cutoff for Bangalore medical College and research Institute basically differ on the basis of All India admission and state wise admission. For all India, the rank must be between 1000 - 2000 and for state, the rank must be between 5000 - 10000.
