First of all, it does not matter how long you have taken to complete your B.Tech and IIT is a great choice if you pursue M.Tech from the same.

Hello Henry! It entirely depends upon the company recruiting a candidate, and the number of vacancies(if any) for the particular job profile in foreign offices. Only if there is a requirement, one would be posted there.

Alpha College of Engineering is a decent college for doing engineering. It is a better one among the colleges affiliated to Anna University.
The placements and the training are also good. You can opt for it if you don't find a better one than this in terms of education and placements.

The moment a student joins GEMS B-School, immediately the placement process will start and the student will be placed in a job related to the specialisation in MBA. The questions will be based on your specialisation in MBA.
