12 or 10+2 or HSC or equivalent to it i.e. Diploma is the basic criterion for an undergraduate degree. If you have no time to complete full-time 12th standard course then you can go for open university or else you can go for Diploma (civil, electrical, nursing, D.Ed, special teacher D.Ed, etc.) this give you professional diploma so that you get an easy job then you can always go for part-time job.

It depends on what your CET or ComedK rank is, not entirely on your board marks. There is a weightage given to your board marks only in CET not ComedK.

If you are an engineering graduate then you are advised to appear for GATE to join IITs, etc. If you are a science graduate then you may appear in JAM examination to seek admission in IITs, etc.
