First of all, its true that companies are coming through reputation and highly graded college but while placements they are not choosing the students as per the fame of college but choose on the bases which abilities are there within you. So, develop your thinking process only for yourself . Don't pressurise your mind for other things.
Good luck.

If you can crack the GDPI, then don't worry. As I studied about it, it's really reputed, highly facilitated and very good place for your exposure. So, just move on.
Best of luck.

Between these two colleges I feel that SRM, Chennai is a better option. Facilities and faculty both are reportedly better. In addition, the placement cell functions very well.
