  • classrooms are good and comfortable
  • faculty is supportive and helps students
  • focus on presentations, activities, group work
  • friendly environment for interaction and learning
  • students can easily participate in events and clubs

GIBS Business School is popular mainly because it gives a more practical and active kind of management learning, not just classroom theory.

Students like it because:

  • focus on internships and real company exposure
  • lot of presentations, group work, and activities
  • regular guest lectures from industry people
  • training for placements from early stage
  • entrepreneurship and startup-related exposure
  • Bangalore location helps for jobs and networking
  • active campus life with events and competitions

So basically, students feel it is more “hands-on” and industry oriented compared to many regular colleges.

That's why it has become a known option for BBA/PGDM

The most critical distinction is that JoSAA counselling does not apply to private engineering colleges in Bangalore. JoSAA strictly manages admissions for premier government-funded institutions like IITs, NITs, and IIITs.

The only ways of admission to a private engineering college in Bangalore like RVCE, BMSCE or MSRIT are through state-level entrance-based counselling through KCET or COMEDK or direct private admission.

2. KCET rank holders can get up to 100% tuition waiver; JEE Main scorers typically get only 15–25% (up to 50–100% at 99+ percentile)

3. Family income below INR 6 lakh/year can qualify for 50–80% need-based fee concession

4. Waivers apply strictly to tuition; hostel, mess, and miscellaneous charges are fully excluded

5. Scholarship is not permanent; CGPA must be ma

Dear reader,

Since central IHMs usually close at significantly higher scores, it is difficult for the General category to get an IHM seat with less than 100 marks. Nonetheless, there can still be openings in State IHMs or during subsequent counseling rounds.

In a similar vein, LPU provides top-notch hotel management programs that offer a superior substitute. Regardless of their NCHMCT JEE rank, LPU guarantees that students receive top-notch industry training with a functioning hotel on campus, worldwide internship possibilities, and a remarkable placement record with premium multinational companies.
