Graduation with a minimum of 50% marks in all subjects. AIT offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Admission into these courses will be through entrance exams. For BE the accepted exams are CET and COMEDK, for MTech, GATE, KPGCET and for MBA, MAT and KMAT.

The university has not released 2023 placement report as yet. The popular recruiting companies participated during CMR University Bangalore placements 2022 included EY Global Delivery Services, IBM India Pvt. Ltd., Flipkart India Pvt. Ltd., KPMG, Wipro, TCS, Dunzo and many others.

The university has not released 2023 placement report as yet. As per the official placements report of 2022, the highest package offered during CMR University Bangalore placements 2022 was INR 11 LPA, which was offered to BTech programme students.
