Bangalore University is a well-know institute which has been established by the 1964. The university is offering quality education under the guidance of experts with years of experience. The university is known for its BTech and MBA programme. The university has decent placements, the median package offered at the Class of 2024 for UG is INR 8 LPA and for PG is INR 3.5 LPA.
Bangalore University has eminent alumni members like Anushka Sharma, Rahul Dravid, Deepika Praduko, etc. The university offers scholarships to the deserving students for financial assiatnce.

Bangalore University fee structure for the UG programme is INR 26.4K - INR 7.65 lakh. The fee structure mentioned only tuition fee. Apart from tuition fee, the total course fee includes other components like Hostel Fee, Mess Fee, Application Fee, etc.

RV College of Engineering Bangalore is a self-financing engineering college. It is also known as RVCE. It is affiliated with the Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU). The institute is has ranked under the 101-150 band in the Engineering category of NIRF Rankings 2025. At the UG level the institute offers BTech programme. M.Tech & MCA are offered at the PG level. The highest package offered during the placements was INR 67 LPA to BTech graduate in 2025. For M.Tech average salary stood at INR 11.24 LPA. In short, it is a good institute in terms of rankigs, range of courses, placements, falcutly, etc.

From my experience at GIBS Bangalore, placements were actually quite structured and preparation starts from the beginning itself. It's not something you suddenly face in the final semester — you keep getting trained through internships, presentations, communication sessions, and mock interviews.
I am from 2025 batch and I personally got placed at around 9 LPA
My friend Suraj got a package of around 16 LPA
Average range for many students is around 8–9 LPA
the highest packages can go around 16–17 LPA+ depending on performance
Internship support is given during the programme itself
