Bangalore University offers a two-year postgraduate degree in MCA. The basic eligibility to apply for Bangalore University MCA programme is to pass graduation with a minimum aggregate of 50% from a recognised university. Hence, those who have scored less than 50% in their Bachelor's are not eligible to apply for the course. However, the candidates can decide to pursue MCA in distance mode. Candidates can also go for one of the colleges offering online MCA courses.

Securing admission to the BA course without PESSAT is not applicable. To get admission to the BA course, candidates must register for the PESSAT exam. PESSAT stands for People's Education Society Scholastic Aptitude Test. It is conducted by PES University courses offered by the institute. Candidates are shortlisted based on their test score as well as their performance in the personal interview round. Performing Arts is the only BA specialisations are offered by PES University. The UG-level programme is only offered in one specialisations : Performing Arts. The BA course is offered accross six semester that last for three years. The undergraduate degree is mainly focused on the entertainment industry and related techniques
