The NIT Calicut cutoff 2024 has been released across multiple specialisations. Based on the Last Round seat allotment, the MSc cutoff ranks ranged between 1130 and 1312 for the General AII India category students. Among all the MSc specialisations, M.Sc. in Mathematics is the most competitive. So, considering the Last Round cutoff, candidates seeking admission to NIT Calicut must secure over and above the cutoff range mentioned here to be eligible.

Yes, National Institute Of Technology is a government institute. It is also one of the 31 institutes set up by the government termed as ' Institutes of National Importance ' . The institute is funded by the Ministry Of Education, India. 

Admissions at NIT Calicut are accepted through the entrance examination- JEE Mains.

For admission in long term courses at NIELIT, Chandigarh, candidates must appear in the entrance examination. Generally, NIELIT entrance examination happens every year in the last week in the month of june every year. For admission in all Non formal courses like O Level, A Level, B Level and C Level of any branch, entrance exam is mandatory. As DOEACC O Level course, is a long term course and it is of O Level, the applicant must give the entrance examination. Thus, you can not get direct admission to DOEACC O Level course at NIELIT, Chandigarh.

NIT Calicut offers B.Tech in 10 different specialisations. Candidates have to score at least 75 percent aggregate in their class 12th Board Examinations. They can apply for admission in B.Tech at NIT Calicut through the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main . Candidates with a good merit and decent score are selected for admission. Final selection will depend upon the JoSAA counselling.

With merits like 54th rank under 'overall 'category in the NIRF 2023 ranking, 2nd rank under 'Architecture' Category by NIRF 2023, 204th in the 'Southern Asia University' category and 651-700 in the 'Asia University' category by the QS World University Rankings 2024. NIT Calicut is definitely a great choice to pursue B.Tech from . The highest package offered at the institute was INR 50 lac per annum and average package ranges between INR 8-14 Lac per annum, depending upon the specialisation.

Applicants at NIT Calicut who have a CAT percentile above 70 would have a good probability of being admitted to the MBA program.Students who score 101 or higher on the 198-mark CAT exam are awarded a 99.5+ percentile. A student's CAT exam score must be at least 92 to 5 percentiles in order to be admitted to NIT Calicut's MBA program. In order to be considered, candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in any field from an accredited university or institution, with a minimum cumulative GPA of 6.0/10 (or 60% for GEN/GEN-EWS/OBC and 5.5/10 for SC/ST/PwD).
