The Laval University is located in the Quebec City, and has much to offer to its students. According to some unofficial sources and various student’s opinions available online, following are the things to know before attending University of Laval:
- The Quebec City is very friendly, and as a community it welcomes international students.
- The campus and Quebec City is very safe for international students.

The Laval University does not release data about acceptance rate, however, as per some unofficial sources University of Laval acceptance rate is 50%, which means out of every 100 applications only 50 are selected, which makes it fairly competitive to get selected into the university.

No, Langara does not offer student housing on its campus. However, they offer two main options for their students: It's one of the best homestay programs in Canada. GEC Living - preferred student residence for Langara students. However, it is not possible to accommodate Langara students in both options and alternatives are finding co-living or private apartments nearby. Students can find tons of co-living or private apartments available nearby Langara College.

Langara College accepts international applications through the EducationPlannerBC (EPBC) Application Portal available on their official website. While applying, students are required to fulfill the following Langara College document requirements -
- Academic transcripts of all previous academic qualifications;
- Completed Langara College Application Form specifying the start date of the course;
- English proficiency test scores; and
- Valid study permit.
