By login into the official portal of Sheridan College you can check the status with the help of your user ID and password. Within one-to-five days of submitting the application, international applicants receive important information from Sheridan College via email. The students can upload the required documents as suggested in the email and keep a track of the application for further information. Sheridan College begins sending out admission offers for Fall semester as early as February 1 every year. Admission offers to the programs, having additional admission requirements such as portfolios and auditions, are sent out later in March. The applicants should monitor the Sheridan application portal regularly in order to check the additional document requirements, application status and offers of admission.

Sheridan College has three campuses:

• Davis Campus, Brampton
• Hazel McCallion Campus, Mississauga
• Trafalgar Road Campus, Oakville

There are five main faculty members and schools which are listed below:

• Faculty of Applied Health and Community Studies
• Faculty of Applied Science and Technology
• Pilon School of Business
• Faculty of Animation, Arts and Design
• Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences

Sheridan College also offers on-campus housing known as Sheridan Residences. These residences include modern facilities and fully-furnished suites with common kitchen and laundry facilities. The cost of on-campus residence for eight months is as follows:

The residence fee is payable by wire transfer. International students who are interested in on-campus housing must submit an online application with a refundable CAD 350 deposit which is payable by credit card.

In case, the students wish to opt for off-campus residence, they can use Sheridan’s resources such as Places4Students.com for all the information related to homestays and rented houses.

Note: The international students are recommended to confirm the exact housing cost from the college or the specific landlord before deciding on the accommodation.

International students can easily apply for Sheridan College admissions by following below steps:

• Students will start the application process by choosing the preferred programme from the college's database of over 140 diploma, degree and graduate certificate programme options.
• They will have to initiate online application as Sheridan College doesn't have paper applications.
• They are required to complete all the sections of the application.
• Pay non-refundable Sheridan College application fee to submit the application
• They will then upload the required documents after receiving nine-digit Sheridan ID number.
• Upon receiving offer of admission, the applicants will have to secure the seat by accepting the offer and paying tuition fees.

International applicants must be at least 18 years of age at the time of applying or during the first term. They should have graduated secondary school or equivalent for undergraduate-level courses and have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent for the postgraduate Diploma and certificate courses.  Students may need to fulfil other subject-specific criteria for admission to their selected program.

BBA Admission Requirements

The college offers a BBA degree in Accounting, General Management, and Marketing. Applicants should have graduated high school with completion of university-level Math course or equivalent, such as:

• C+ in Foundations of Math 11
• C in Pre-Calculus 11
• C in Principles of Math 11
• C in Applications of Math 12

Postgraduate Diploma Requirements

An accredited bachelor’s degree with a minimum of three academic years from a recognised institution and a C+ in Foundations of Math 11 or equivalent.

English Language Requirements

International students need any of these exam scores as proof of English proficiency:

Students who do not meet the minimum requirement for English proficiency will be required to take NIC’s English 104 course.

Step 2: Check your requirements thoroughly and see if your current qualifications are recognised. 

Step 3: You should meet the entry requirements checklist before applying: 

• Transcripts of your high school/ Transcripts o0f degree

• A minimum score of 6.5 and above in IELTS

• SOP

• Portfolio 

• CV/ Resume

Step 4: Make sure your English requirements meet the standards of the University.

Step 5: You can submit your application after your requirements are ready.
