VIU acknowledges an application from Indian students within two-eight weeks of receiving the same and notifies them via email for the next steps in the admission process.
Indian students are advised to scan and attach all their documents as part of the online application. This helps reduce time.

The University of Montreal application fee is CAD 77.25. This is the base fee per session. The details of rest of the fees are given below:

The University of Montreal entry requirements for MA in Economics are:
- A bachelor’s degree
- Students must have very good Mathematical skills

Not all the courses at the University of Montreal are taught in French. While the university operates French, and offers a wide variety of courses in French, there are also courses that are available in English. Gradually, the University of Montreal has been expanding its offerings to cater to a more diverse student body. Various faculty members and departments provides courses entirely in English especially at the graduate level.
