Private banks like Axis Bank, ICICI Bank, HDFC, etc. Offer students a loan amount upto 40 Lacs without collateral. Education loans are guaranteed under the Central government's Credit Guarantee Fund Scheme for Education Loans (CGFSEL). As per the scheme, a student can avail education loan without any collateral security or third party guarantee up to a maximum loan amount of inr 7.5 Lacs. Some non banking finance companies (NBFC) or Private Banks provide collateral free or unsecured education loans for Canada.
