No, Applicants are not allowed to get direct admission to the BSc course. IHM Chandigarh is a government institution that follows the rules and regulations set by the National Council for Hotel Management and the Indira Gandhi National Open University. Moreover, to get admissions into BSc courses, applicants must complete their Class 12 with English subjects and must appear in the NCHMCT JEE scores.

Yes, IHM Chandigarh does offer scholarships to BSc students on the basis of their academic achievements in Class 12, category, financial condition, etc. The scholarships are offered at the beginning of the course before joining or in between the semesters. Moreover, applicants can also get benefits from the central and state-based scholarships through registering themselves at the National Scholarship Portal.

IHM Lucknow and IHM Chandigarh both accept the scores of NCHMT JEE for admissions to BSc courses. Hence, the admission process is almost similar for both institutions, as the first requirement is that candidates must complete their higher senior secondary with English, then they must appear for NCHMT JEE, followed by counselling. Therefore, it is hard to determine which institute is easier to get admission into for a BSc course.
However, the institutes can be compared on their closing ranks for the academic batch. For the last round, the cutoff for the AY 2025 for admissions to the BSc HHA course is mentioned below:
