The fee structures for IHM Chandigarh and IHM Delhi (also known as IHM Pusa) are as follows:

IHM Chandigarh:

  • B.Sc in Hospitality and Hotel Administration: INR 49,955 per semester.
  • Diploma in Food Production: INR 39,020 per year.

IHM Delhi (Pusa):

  • B.Sc in Hospitality and Hotel Administration: INR 80,125 for the first year.
  • Diploma in Bakery & Confectionery: INR 29,400 for the first year.

Chandigarh institute of hotel management (also known as dr. ambedkar institute of hospitality management, catering and nutrition) is well known and well known in various rankings according to India Today, ranked 9th among 75 colleges  in India by 2023. 

It was ranked 1st in Chandigarh by both India Today and The Week and according to India Today, the institute topped the list of hotel management institutes which it is available throughout India.

UIET Chandigarh offers four-year BE course divided into eight semesters. The institute offers BE in different specialisations. Below is BE eligibility criteria:

  • Candidates must pass Class 12 or equivalent with five subjects, namely Hindi, English, Punjabi or any other language and Physics, Mathematics or any one of Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational Subject to apply for UIET BE.
  • Aspirants who have completed Class 10 followed by Diploma with Mathematics as compulsory subject can also apply.

Greetings!

CIHM is far better as it is an established institute as well as gets campus from all major hotel around. CIHM is also under NCHM. which is better granted then any other private or state funded IHM.

IHM Pusa B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration course is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 81 genuine verified students while AIHM Chandigarh same course is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 53 students at Shiksha.

Yes, summer training is a part of UIET BE Electronics and Communication curriculum. The institute conducts two weeks summer training. The students will undergo a mandatory “Summer Training” of two weeks in their respective  departments after their second semester exams. It will be non-credited mandatory course, the result of which (satisfactory/unsatisfactory) will be reflected in their second semester mark sheet.
