Chandigarh University is a private university and is recognised by the UGC. It has become the only state-private university of Punjab to be accredited by NAAC. It is also a member of ICAR, AUAP, IAU, ACU, IEEE, ASME, IUCEE, and ACS.

To become eligible for Diploma and Certificate programs at Lambton College students will have to submit the following test scores-

• IELTS Academic- 6.0 overall with no band below 6.0
• PTE Academic- 60 overall wth no band below 60
• TOEFL iBT- 78 overall with no band below 18

UIET Chandigarh considers GATE scores for admission to M.Tech programme. Selected candidates are called for counselling. Aspirants can get admission in M.Tech without GATE scores provided they meet the selection criteria.

Chitkara School of Planning and Architecture offers a four-year BDes in Interior Design programme at the UG level. Candidates must pass Class 12 in any stream with at least 50% aggregate to apply for BDes. Aspirants are selected for BDes based on UCEED scores followed by performance in the PI round.

• 25% seats are reserved for bonafide candidates of Himachal Pradesh in Chitkara University, HP
• 15% seat are exclusively reserved for candidates of Punjab Domicile in Chitkara University, Punjab

Chitkara School of Planning and Architecture offers courses at UG level in Design and Architecture streams. The school offers a five-year BArch and a four-year BDes programme. Candidates need to complete Class 12 with relevant subjects to apply for any of the offered UG courses. Admission is entrance-based at Chitkara School of Planning and Architecture.
