Getting admission to ARM College of Engineering and Technology is moderately competitive. Admission is primarily based on merit scores, with the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) being a major factor for postgraduate programs and the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) for undergraduate programs. Its easy compared to NIT and IIT's.
