Following the start of the counseling process, Thangavelu Engineering College's TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission) results are usually made public. The dates for the TNEA results change every year because Anna University has a predetermined schedule for the admissions procedure. For example, TNEA's 2024 provisional seat allocation was made in several rounds, and the final allocation was made after counseling.

The most accurate and current information may be found on the official TNEA website, where you can track individual TNEA dates, including results.

Each year, the cutoff scores for Thangavelu Engineering College's B.E. and B.Tech programs change based on branch and category. The cutoff for the Mechanical Engineering program, for instance, has fluctuated between 140 and 150 marks in previous years for the general category (OC), and it is typically lower for reserved categories like SC or ST. Based on the candidates' performance in the 12th board exams, Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) sets the cutoff scores. These figures are likely to change every year based on the competitiveness and the volume of applications.
