IIT Madras JAM Cutoff 2024 was released for candidates seeking admission into MSc courses. The cutoff was released for different categories under the AI Quota. For the General AI category candidates, the last round closing cutoff ranks varied between 173 and 211. The cutoff was released for MSc in Physics, MSc in Chemistry and MSc in Mathematics. Out of these three, the most in-demand was MSc in Physics. Candidates can check the last-round closing cutoff for MSc courses at IIT Madras in the table below with respect to the General AI category candidates:

IIT Madras JEE Advanced cutoff 2024 was concluded for different courses such as BTech, Integrated BTech and BS. The cutoff for the General AI category candidates closed at a range of 159 and 10682. During 2023, the cutoff ranks for the same was closed at a range of 148 and 11185. The Cutoff was released in the form of Opening and Closing ranks for different categories under the AI quota. For the General AI quota candidates, the Cutoff ranks for different courses closed at a range of 159 and 10682.

The fee structure of M.Arch programme in Crescent School of Architecture, which is affiliated to B. S. Abdur Rahman University, Chennai is around INR 2,00,000 for the whole course. It means that the programme has 20 seats in total and provides further training in architecture.

The recent placements statistics has not been released by IDE University of Madras for MBA courses, however, as per the students’ reviews on the Shiksha page,  84% of the recent batch was successfully placed in the reputed companies. The the highest and the lowest package offered during the recent Madras University Distance Education placements stood at INR 35 LPA and INR 7 LPA, respectively.

The MBA (Human Resource Management) course at IDE University of Madras is a two-year course in postgraduation, divided into four semesters and offered in distance mode. University of Madras has opened a Single Window Admission Centre located at the IDE building at Chepauk Campus, Chennai and ensures admission across the counters. Students using the Single Window Admission Centre should know the working hour of this admission center: 

Working Hours: The Single Window Admission Centre functions on all days including Saturdays and Sundays except holidays declared by the Government of Tamil Nadu. The centre is openfrom 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on week days and between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays during admission period only.

The IDE University of MBA selection process is based on the eligibility criteria qualified by the candidates, followed by a valid score in the entrance examination. Firstly, Candidates for admission to the first year of the Master of Business Administration Degree Programme in the Institute of Distance Education shall be required to have any one of the following qualifications
under 10+2+3 or 10+3+3 or 10+3+2 or 11+1+3 or 11+2+2 pattern of education. Further, the university accepts the XAT, CAT, MET, TANCET and other entrance examination scores.
