Yes, direct admission to Velammal Engineering College is possible. There is Management Quota for Velammal Engineering College (VEC). 50% of seats are allotted under Management quota. You can either get admission in this college by clearing entance exam called TNEA or by merit basis, but it's mandatory to score 45 percent in class 12 as its eligibility criteria for admission.

Saveetha Engineering College TNEA closing rank in 2024 was 16240 for BE Computer Science Engineering. In comparison to closing rank in 2022 and 2023, there is improving trend. In 2022, BE CSE rank was 17676 and in 2023, it was 18773.
The TANCET closing cutoff for SEC MBA of last three-years shows a declining trend. The cutoff was 2280 in 2022, 2895 in 2023 which declined to 3812 in 2024.
