Anand Institute of Higher Technology is one of the growing institute in the Chennai, it was established in 2000. The environment of the institute for the students at Anand institute of higher technology is highly appreciable, green parks there,   books, novels literature etc. in the library,   infrastructure is excellent, these are the plus point of the AIHT. In term of placements, these opportunities are not so good there . Institute has a big playground and has some official sports teams such as cricket volleyball etc. Institute celebrates various festivals such as holi, dipawali, republic day, 15 August, and some cultural programs are also celebrated in AIHT. 

Anand Institute of Higher Technology, Chennai was established in 2000. It is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai, and all the courses there are approved by AICTE. The environment for students at Anand institute of higher technology is highly appreciable, green parks, availablity of books in the library, well maintained infrastructure, roads etc. are the plus point of the institute. In term of placements, these opportunities are not so good there . Placement rate is average in AIHT . There are some companies which visites there  such as TCS, TATA, INFOSYS, and many more will come. If a class has 40 students for the placement then almost 10 of them will be selected.

It’s a very good college, one of the best in South India, if your primary aim is good academics. Loads of patients and interesting cases, experienced doctors as teachers, almost all specialties, and very good facilities and modern diagnostic equipment. It was established in 1835 and it was started as a small hospital in 1664. The institute is the third oldest medical college in India established after Ecole de Médecine de Pondichéry and Medical College, Kolkata.

The college has the approval of the Medical Council of India. It has been ranked 16 for Medical College by NIRF in 2021. The college has a strong placement record. Overall, it is one of the best colleges in Chennai.

• SRM University (including all campuses) ranks 801-1000 in the 2024 QS Asia University Rankings. This indicates a place in the broader Asian university landscape, but not among the absolute top institutions.
