Yes, Loyola College admission to BSc is based on merit in the last qualifying exam and meeting the eligibility criteria.
Eligibility: Twelve years of school education in any relevant subjects.
The programme is offered under seven specialisations, including Chemistry, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, Plant Biology & Plant Biotechnology, and Visual Communication. At Loyola College Chennai, the BSc course is offered in two shifts: Shift-1 comes in the Aided category and shift-2 comes in the Self-Financed category.

Admission to BSc at Loyola College is merit based. Candidates must qualify the eligibility criteria i.e., Twelve years of school education in Chemistry, Physics, Biology. Candidates qualifying the eligibility criteria are than required to fill the online application form. Once the form is submitted, the college will conduct a screening process for shortlisting candiates. Than a list of eligible candidates for admission process will be released in the website.
