The selection process is simple, you give JEE and then sit in the counselling for the Dr. MGR Educational and Research Institute but the data about cutoff is not much clear on any website, you can check answers on Shiksha from the students already studying there, and that would give you a rough idea of Cutoffs or you can reach the institute through their contact us section and enquire them yourself about the criteria and cutoff I hope they will help you. You can also contact students studying in the college through LinkedIn and ask them about the same

It's an excellent college for learning, athletics, and self-control.
Placements : Of the 120 stuents, about 80 were assigned to this course. 7.5 LPA was the biggest wage package that was available. This course does not offer internships. Students receive job offers in IT.
Infrastructure : It's reasonably well-maintained. This college has a distinct block. The classrooms are kept up nicely. The atmosphere on campus is pleasant. Our classrooms have whiteboards and projectors. A good-sized library is there, with a number of books available.

That depends on what you are comparing it to . But surely it is one of the best colleges in chennai considering the variety in the courses it offers. there are other good colleges like VIT Chennai and ofcourse IIT Madras but they are not in main city and also only offers a handful of streams in courses which are B.Tech and Buisness. but Dr MGR Educational and Research Institute provides many sorts of courses including MBBS BA etc.

This college has an amazing culture, and the exposure you receive from its vibrant student organizations and societies only serves to strengthen your position. This also enables an individual to pursue and develop a particular passion. The college has a lot of goals for the near future, and one of those plans to install whistling pine parks all throughout the campus.

Dr MGR Educational and Research Institute accepts various entrance tests for admission to MBA. Dr MGR Educational and Research Institute accepts MAT for admission to MBA. The cutoff for admission to MBA various from year to year. The eligibility criteria states that the applicant must have passed graduation from a recognised university.
