To be admitted for the BCom programme at Bharathiar University one has to qualify 10+2 and secured a minimum of 50% of the total marks. The admission process usually takes place in May-June every year. Eligible candidates can submit their application through the university website and for this applicants have to pay INR 300 as application fees to general candidates and INR 150 to SC/ST candidates. The eligibility criteria are met by taking the qualifying examination to determine merit. The university has a 3 year course in BCom and the total intake of the course is 120 students.
