The admission process for the School of Distance Education at Bharathiar University varies depending on the batch.  Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences offers a two-year M.Tech course divided into four semesters. M.Tech is offered in nine specialisations. Check below the M.Tech specialisations and seat intake as per unofficial sources:

Candidates must pass Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology/ Biotechnology or equivalent with at least 50% aggregate is required to apply for the BSc course. Aspirants must not be over 21 years of age as on July 1 of the admission year. Admission to the BSc course is based on merit in the last qualifying exam. Eligible candidates can apply for the admission at Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences. Candidates are shortlisted for BSc courses based on their merit in the last qualifying exam. BSc is available in two specialisations, namely Forensic Science and Information Security & Digital Forensics.
