National Institute of Fashion Technology Delhi was established in 1986 under the Ministry of Textiles of the Government of India. The NIFT Act of the Indian Parliament made NIFT Delhi a statutory institution in 2006 and gave it the authority to award its own degree. The National Institute of Fashion Technology in Delhi is the first of the country's 19 NIFTs to open as a campus. NIFT Delhi is also a government institution with autonomy. NIFT Delhi's campus infrastructure has won numerous awards.

CUET UG is compulsory for admission in the affiliated colleges of University of Delhi for UG courses. Delhi University introduced admissions through CUET scores  for candidates who seek admission.

The average package offered during JNU School of Engineering placements 2023 was INR 11 LPA. However, the average package of top ranked (NIRF) IITs such as IIT Bombay and IIT Madras in 2023 stood at INR 21.82 LPA and INR 17 LPA. Other than this, the average package of lower ranked (NIRF) IITs such as IIT Tirupati and IIT Jammu stood at INR 17.58 LPA and INR 17 LPA, respectively.

Once you get admission in IGNOU in distance education, students have to submit assignments, appear for term end exam and if required submit practical file. 

  • Assignments: Students can check the assignment on the official website of IGNOU as per their year of admission. Students have to submit the assignment within the specified time to their designated study centre. Some study centre might accept online submission. However, it is advised to submit a hard copy as well. Assignment has weightage of 30%.

The process of admission for DU is extremely competitive, especially for the well known and popular courses and colleges. However, the level of difficulty of admission varies a lot depending on the programme a student wishes to get into and the DU college a student seeks. Some of the key parameters that define how easy or tough can it be for a student to get into a good DU college are:

  • Scores in CUET/ Class 12

 It is compulsory to carry IGNOU ID-Card when appearing for the exam. However, in case a students forgets to bring the same, he or she can show an identity proof like Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, etc. Most of the exam centres accept identity proof in such cases but to avoid any kind of conflict, students must carry their IGNOU ID-Card along with an identity proof and admit card.

Students need to submit assignments before the deadline given by the university. As per the information collated from web, If any student does not submit the assignment and recieves the hall ticket, he/ she can appear in the Term End Exam conducted by IGNOU University. However, the assignment section in the grade card will show 'Not Completed'. Assignments are an integral part of the curriculum because the same carry 30% weightage during evaluation. A student for clearing his exam needs 40%, assignments carry a significant weightage in academics.
